Default impreza 22b gearbox spec

Hi! Im wondering how much better the gearbox on a impreza 22b is over the impreza type r gearbox,
And whats the diffrens?
And how much hp/nm it will handel?

Pretty sure its the same as a Type R. The 22b is mostly the same running gear as a V4 STI RA, only it has the wider body, 2.2L motor and limited run.

Same gearbox as the relevant type r - the uk ones ran an AP twinplate clutch, but not really necessary on the oem torque levels

okay!,

so the gearbox from a 22b isent worth any more than a Gearbox from a type r???

have a friend that keeps telling me that he has a gearbox from a 22b and that its worth about 4500-5000 pund, if I want to buy it,,
what would u guys concider it to be worth??

He's having a laugh

You can pick up a Version 4 DCCD box for about £500-600 from a breaker and that normally includes the rear diff so I don't really see why a 22B box should be much more

Just because the box comes form a 22B doesn't make it special.

For that price you could get a 6 speed DCCD conversion and have money left over
