James, the kit doesn't come with the turbo compressor to intercooler pipe because on Sti's they have an elbow as standard. Unfortunately this mean on a uk car you need to buy one 
Try F1 at West King's down they usually have them in stock, or Rally Design down in Faversham (as they are relatively local) or order one from demon tweeks, from memory it's a 45mm or 50mm Internal Diameter and a 90 degree elbow.
BTW did you get some mesh?
