Default ppp exhaust options please

Hi all, I've got 05 wrx ppp.
I've ordered an sti uppipe and 2nd hand decat downpipe but I really want to keep it mot friendly.
I'm really just trying to open up the Subaru sound over power etc.
I understand that ppp loses the 3rd cat. So how does the ppp centre section change,is it still downpipe, small centre pipe ,bigger centre pipe and backbox.
EBay do a centre section pipe with 100 cell cat.
So I either change upipe only and don't remap as I like how ppp map drives.
Change uppipe, downpipe and buy cat centre and remap.or full decat and cry on mot day trying to change downpipe.
I had full decat bug and loved the throaty sound of decat .
Could I change uppipe and backbox and still get good sound and not remap.
Cheers.

I fitted a Prodrive sports cat before remapping my WRX, was advised that the 100 cell could struggle to pass an MOT.

All the PPP on a WRX was:-
PPP ECU
Decat MidPipe (aka centre pipe)
PPP Backbox
Silicon Intercooler Y Pipe

Why would you want to change the uppipe and not remap?
The PPP pack very rarely made the quoted 265BHP anyway.

Just because it drives pretty nice as is.
Is there 2 centre sections?

Default Ppp

I recommend you get the PPP sports cat from the sti and use that rather than the standard 2nd cat.

It'll drive even better with a custom map fella.

It'll get through MOT with sports cat, you just need to get it nice and hot I believe

Yeah your right, so will I need a centre section as well.
Trying to work out if there's a small single and one big like the standard wrx.
I'll probably end up de chatting the lot then worry about mot when it comes round.
Sti or sports cats don't come up too often I don't think.
