I had some grinding noise coming from the rear of my gearbox so after stripping it all down it doesnt appear to be my center diff as i first thought, although the bearing on the transfer case cover looks and sounds ok there does seem to be quite a lot of side to side play.
My question is how do i remove the shaft on the transfer cover to get at the bearing?
