Thumbs up

Goes to NITO....

for being so helpful (and generous) in my efforts to put Red back together. Thanks Buddy I owe you.......

Close second to Phil at Barretts Motorsport

This is my counterpoint to the posts complaining of poor service etc. Sometimes the good experiences get overlooked

He needs to as he's booked into Bedford to see what a PPPTMW! can do

Echo thoughts on Phil - most helpful to me & I wasn't even a customer

Care to share your experiences of sorting recovery back to home/garage getting it fixed etc? What was covered by insurance?

hopefully may help others in similiar situations.

cheers,

greg

Question

Hi all,

Just wondering when/where/what about the Bedford event? All I've seen are comments like 'see you in Bedford' etc. I do live here after all.

Thanks for any info.

greg

mine was not covered by insurance, but then I knew that when I took out the cover. Green Flag, AA were not too keen on me joining on the spot to put it mildly

According to Dave, the guy who trailered me home, all the breakdown companies ask the drivers if recovery was from a trackday now, so I guess you had all better read the small print carefully in your policies. (You all did that already, right ?? ) It would appear that recovery from a track accident is going to get harder to get cover for.

For those not covered, the cost is £1/mile for the full round trip.......incident-home-base for recovery vehicle...in my case 434 miles

Now, some drivers will turn a blind eye according to Dave, but many will not. In my case I had to arrange pickup from Cadwell Park which tended to give the game away
