Default Gearbox needed for 500bhp

Hi all can anyone tell me can you run the standard gearbox say a ty752 up to 500bhp without any issues or do you need a better box or even internals if one is needed which one would I go for any help appreciated

i would have thought the box would have left a trail of bits down the road long before it reached 500bhp!!

6 speed i would think, would be the best option for that amount of power/torque

6 speed. No chance on 5 speed as said above. Could also go 5 speed straight cut ppg if funds permit. Sounds lovely too! /)

So can the original gearbox be used with new internals ie six speed or 5 straight cut and would the diff and hubs need to be changed as well just trying to work out what my best option is at moment as am having block work done as we message and what's do you reckon is the most I'd get out of the original gearbox before it gets the hump and fits everywhere cheers guys and gals

As above, best option is complete 6 speed setup. This can not use a lot from your current 5 speed setup. Ideally you will need 6 speed gearbox, prop, matching rear diff, gearbox cradle, selector at very least, but ideally 6 speed clutch, flywheel, drive shafts and hubs too if you wanna upgrade everything to stronger parts.
