The car is definitely a V5. The previous owner had twatted about with some after market parts, most of which I took off but some remain. Must be a hang-over from that. It certainly hasn't been front-ended.

The v5 v6 front grill is a lot beefier, keep an eye out for a 2nd hand one, although I see import car parts doing them cheap enough new.. 60 quid I think

I don't think a V5 or V6 grille would line up with my headlights, but if I get a chance I'll check it out.

I can't see why not

even if you prefer the grille you have, get the oem one for that year at a reasonable price and keep it safe, your car looks tidy and it'll be an investment in time to come

Your headlights look just like regular V5/V6 headlights, so not really sure about the 'aftermarket' comment?

A V5 grill will fit perfectly against those headlights.

The headlight plastic is a lot clearer than the sidelights, I always assumed they were aftermarket as it doesn't look like they quite match. Just had a look at some other pictures and perhaps they are original after all.
*shrugs*

mate your sidelights are the odd ones out on your car, they're from a previous revision.

V4 sidelights and grill. V5 crystal headlights. Strange. The clocks surround are different on v4 to v5
