its not quite in poverty equipment spec like the wrx though, they managed to fit some proper brakes to the evo.
I would have bought an STi, but I needed a wagon and they didn't make a Blobeye STi Wagon, I also need to be able to tow, something you can't legally do in an STi.

But then people like me upset that apple cart, but fitting fully forged EVO running gear into lightweight hatchback shells.
It's a Proton Gti, which is 90% the same as the Colt GTI. Even the wiring loom used Mitsi plugs and connectors.
It's the same floor plan as the EVO until the rear seats, where you have to add the AWD parts. The only thing that needed modding was the prop, which was shortened by 50mm.
We found all this out when Team Kentscoobies entered the last MLR500 in a Colt Gti.
