A 'prodrive' as you call it, is just a simple a remap and not a great one at that. £350 gets you a good open source map and you will then have around 270bhp with supporting mods.

No point arguing with him Gear Head. His previous thread got deleted when he started getting rude and offensive. His requirements are very particular and said he was going to buy a car by last weekend at the latest. Watching SNET he has turned down quite a few nice examples now.

'Supporting' mods being the operative word. £350 for the map and how much for the supporting mods?

Hello buddy,
is the car still for sale? I wanted to ask some questions if thats ok?
Is the milage verified by the service history
is the car fully HPI clear and if so do you have the certificate to prove it?
Does it have stonechips?
Has it had any knocks, scrapes or bumps?
How many previous owners?
tyre conditions and makes
is it uk edition or import
was the wrap to cover up any damage
power output, eiher estimated or dyno'd
If you still have the standard alloys
any other pictures would be great also, eg interior, tyres/wheels, boot etc

thanks very much buddy
sorry to be a pain its just such a long way I have to make sure its worth my time and effort

Hi buddy, not a problem got to make sure everything is right when buying a car.

Milage is 61300 and last stamped at 58000
Car is fully hpi clear I paid cash for it you would have to do a check for piece of mind as I can only give you my word.
There are a few very small stone chips on the bumper and tiny ones on the bonnet, nothing major to notice.
3 owners on the v5
Tyres are all in good condition I will get make for you.
It's a uk car.
Wrap is just for looks and can be removed it's not hiding any marks or dents.
Car had not been in any accidents bodywork is very straight with no debts or scratches.
Power estimated by previous owner to be 265bhp car goes very well and feels as quick.
Sorry just the alloys on the car.
I will get pictures up of interior etc either today or tomorrow for you.

Any other questions just ask, thanks.

firstly i was not rude so get over yourself the guy i was arguing with was being a sarcastic idiot. i needed a car quickly because my insurance was up but didnt find nothing so still looking . and i never turned down nice examples how would you even know. firstly some are just too far away or the mileage was too high so get your facts right.

Can't believe this hasn't sold. Knew this car through its previous owner. Very well looked after car that has been well cared for by its current owner too.

A flight to Edinburgh from down south isn't too far to travel IMO. Bought 7 cars in the last year and the closest was 300 miles away. If you are after a sorted car, look no further

Where about in Edinburgh are you? I'm in Haddington East Lothian over from Belfast for a few days visiting in-laws. Wouldn't mind having a look at the car if still available.
