Just to let u all know I got the car and pics don't do it justice.
Forget the bonnet and vortex and lights I'm getting replacement s already the car is mint. There is no rust anywhere👍
I need a parcel shelf and a driver side (arm rest , I know it's not an arm rest but the padded section where the elecy window buttons are) as these is moulded to the shape if yr elbow and a parcel shelf.
This is going to be a good blank canvas to add my style , some if which people may not or may like , but it's my car like yrs is yrs ..
I'm looking forward to staring a project thread , which hopefully should be interesting 👍👍👍

You may want to budget for a bit of paint when you get the vomtex generator off. Hope it does not end up like the Saxo!

It's only tat on it mate, de chav it and I'm sure it will look nice, though I don't envy you the drive home or getting up in the morning going outside and seeing a carbon bonnet and vortex jobbie.![Lol1](images/smilies/lol1.gif)
Ps if the bonnet is a nice one like siebon, they fetch decent money and should pay to sort the roof.

Cheers for the positive replies
The bonnet is 550 brand new apparently so will be up for grabs as soon as I find a silver with 457 paint code ( I think that's what I read )
And u hope it don't end up looking like a saxo lol

Also I think I might change the exhaust
I love the sound of the flat four but this kakimoto exhaust is way too loud. I might try a bung if not look around for another 👍

Cheers Craig, how's yrs going?
Yeah I heard the kakimoto is quite rare
I can't find any for sale so wether that's a good thing ? I will try a bung first but I can see it coming up for sale soon .
As for driving it in the dark , I think my lighter throws more light than these crappy headlights .!!!

Poor earth on the switch, unscrew it clean any rust off and screw it back in also check the spade connector isn't rusty take it off and put it back on a couple of times to remove any oxidisation, if that doesn't work try a new switch and if that doesnt work run a new piece of wire from the switch to the light.

Maybe some are on the a pillar under the latch for the door lock, but there will only be one, press the one on the passenger side and the light should go out, most of the time it's just the screw is rusty if it's the wrong type of screw and has gone rusty or where it screws into is rusty, just needs changing for a zinc coated type or if it already is then it just wants to be screwed in and out a couple of times to make a decent contact.
