Hi all - around what time do we usually meet at Magor services?

Also, do we get a club parade lap of Combe? I did a track day there a few weeks ago in my Alfa, and a Saab club did a parade lap of about 50 cars at lunchtime. Was quite an odd sight & big logistical challenge!

I'm looking forward to this though - got car back from the body shop last week, and its now currently in 3 Arches getting a good going over of all the mechanicals, so everything coming together

Certainly no parade or club lap all the years I've been going to Rallyday, there will be parade laps by certain cars usually those taking up the Clubman package, or cars belonging to marque that has a anniversary eg the Audi Quattro a few years back.

And yes we meet at Magor Services off the M4 prior to leaving for the show, timings to be posted up later.

Well after 10hrs of some washing, polishing and waxing, the car is ready for the show all tucked up.

Right we all need to be at Magor Services no later than 7am, I propose to leave there no LATER than 7.15am sharp.

I don't want as in previous years us leaving far later than planned and then having to queue for an eternity to get into the circuit.

If you are picking up tickets on the morning then it is YOUR responsiblity to come and get your tickets from me, if you cannot get to the services and allow yourself enough time to have a toilet break/coffee, pick up your ticket and leave by 7.15am then quite simply you will MISS the show.

Being as I coming from the furthest point west of anyone if I can get there on time then anyone can, remember if you are late then you will miss the show.

I will be at the services from 6.30am onwards, you snooze you lose.

I hope this show is the best of the year, hopefully the weather will be good, there will be plenty of good track action and everyone will enjoy themselves.

Around 8.00 - 8.15am assuming that we go at a steady pace and no big delays encountered en route.

Cheers. I may meet up with you at Magor for the drive there but most likely go directly to Combe.

Thank you for organising this Ty, got my tickets earlier in the week and the kids are really looking forward to it.

I am coming from the southeast (originally in a mini convoy with Fpan before he sold up and went on holiday!) so I'll see you there.

Thanks Again!

Received my tickets the other day and had planned on getting my car cleaned and polished up today and tomorrow but I'm now having to spend my time travelling to Leeds to give a training seminar as the guy down to do it had to pull out. grrrrrrr

Where do you stand if you have a spare ticket anyone know? My eldest son has been called into work and if he can't swap his shift he can't make it so I'm just wondering if I can sell it on to someone who might need it or can that not be done?

To be honest if it's an adult ticket then it's only worth what you paid for it which is £10.00, if it's a child's ticket then it's worth nothing which is what it cost you.

It's an adult ticket and if I can get what I paid all good but if not it's not a problem.

They were all posted Monday morning by RM recorded delivery, to be honest you'd have been better off coming to the meet as you are in Cardiff.

I can check the tracking later but it might be worth checking with your neighbours etc as the delivery would need to be signed for.
