Well, no-one's going to knowingly degrade the performance of their Impreza, that's a certainty.

So, does anything cosmetic do that? - er..... no.

So, is most of the items on the list er.... cosmetic? - er.... yes.

Add stickers, decals, 'fake' vents - almost anything that doesn't detract from the staggering performance of one of the greatest cars ever manufactured - and one becomes someone unworthy of owning one, a 'chav' even.

This thread isn't to highlight Subaru mods that bother me. It aimed at sheep who think a blast up to the speed limit once in a blue moon is organising and or taking part in illegal street racing, and that going to the mechanics whilst average 51MPG to diagnose a scraping sound is racing around with no pads.

I don't really get the Fake Roof vent hating, it's just a subtle styling mod, different coloured scoops, spoilers and foglight covers look worse and they didn't even make the list of shame!!!

its because he once claimed the wrx was the pinnacle of performance imprezas as he street raced loads of 450 plus cars and won in his wrx.

most people pointed out he was full of **** and his claim is all people are sti owning sheep for questioning his wrx super car claims.

 

People on here all sticking together in trying to prove 3M on an Impreza or a tisssh noise is the biggest evil since the holocaust. Strange they can even hear a BOV as they believe a large spooling turbo makes zero noise.

They allow no room for difference. In their tiny heads a WRX of any level of tune can't beat any STI, even one sat in the scrappers. A BOV on a 100,000k Imp means it is a crap Imp, they won't even accept the word Imp as a reference for the Impreza.

Thought you were going btw? Moving to a quieter car that doesn't sit hand in hand with stickers/decals or hydraulic-esque sounds. Maybe you should read books instead of forums, no annoying beep beep beep noises away from PC's.

I think the single most evil mod would have to be a manual boost controller. The amount of destroyed engines these little gadgets have contributed to is unreal. Or is it the people that fits them? haha

I'd say up to 50% of Imp owners are driving with a sticky caliper piston! Sometimes it's quiet sometimes you get a slight steam train noise if your disk isn't true. I wouldn't say it was driving with defective brakes lol.
