I read the crankies/bearings/connie's were ok on the Newage Imp WRX? I thought it was the pissy's that went first?

Agreed, but some people have more money than sense lol

A hone could be done fairly cheaply (new, rings, bearings etc too)

New pistons - new engine, sti.

Dicky ring and a few marks in 1 cylinder, most tuners who have driven or been in the car notice nothing, not even the fact the car shakes to buggery at the lights.

My engine builder found a company in bradford who turned my open deck block into a semi closed deck block for £300 by welding lugs where they are on the scdb
