Yes I heard that too and certainly the Brits are now buying again in France but most of my clients (I sell mainly chateaux, estates, manoirs, etc.) are either Australian or US, closely followed by Swiss and Canadians. Property laws in Spain are extremely dodgy and many foreign buyers have fallen foul to local "scams" unfortunately". Property purchase in France is actually more secure than the UK (don't forget in the UK you don't actually own the land as there's still the "crown" clause in all freehold contracts and gazumping is not possible in France once the 1st contract is signed).

Not for everyone but I've been here for 13 years now and easily the best move I've ever made

Well they couldn't do it by tank, boat or plane so I suppose something a little less obtrusive is called for

Im not surprised when most of you guys are accusing the newbies of making the place unhealthy. Yes I like things to be nice and clean for everyone involved in property sales and gazumping just messes things up

I've just sold a small (1million€) chateau last weekend so it's looking like the end to the year will be a good one and a Happy Chrimbo to you too ....

Do you want a VTA DV because it makes a loud noise?
Do you want to put stickers on your Impreza?
Do you want a stick on roof vent?
Do you want Lexus rear lights?
Do you want neons?

If your answer to all those questions is NO you'll be just fine here 'son'

To be fair Chris, the 'young un' actually posts in a legible manor, so in that sense, he/she's got a lot going for them.

I can see your point, it can get irritating having to repeat yourselves time and time again. Although being on a very popular forum such as SN is going to attract all sorts of people so it is to be expected.

I just don't think the more helpful guys (such as yourself) feel the need to involve themselves in these 'playground' antics. Just settle your differences and be done. Your all here for the same thing at the end of the day!

And don't worry I'm not drawn to all these mods you speak of F1-fan my approach is very minimal so to speak.

As a newbie that promptly f*cked off from this site, I pop back now and again just in case I find someone looking to buy a low mileage car.
I didn't mention on my previous visits that I worked for Dave Richards Autosport (Rothmans Rallying for those that don't recognise his name) Rothmans Porsche 911, 6R4, M3 and then after that.......the very reason this site exists.

I liked the original post, very true, and now I'm f@cking off again

This sites way of 'telling it how it is' puts off some owners that actually could help imo
