You could re-use the stock Bilstein bump stops, usually the same stop, front and rear - they are rubber, so do split.
You might consider refreshing the internal grease?
Presumably regreasing the struts will refurb them to basically new?
Or are extra parts required from Bilstein?
Thanks
Bilstein charge about £120 per strut, for a refurb. £30ish extra, per strut, for strut body re-furb.
Main wear items are the internal bearings - knocking: excessive side to side play. Chrome wearing away. Oil change/grease change. Check gas pressure and damping curve against original specs.
Be prepared for a long wait.
P11L all gone.
1 set of wr15r/t left.
I could order another batch of P11L:
In 50's £235 + bump stops
In 25's £290 + bump stops
Depends on further interest.
There might be a set of P11L available from Northern Ireland?
The more you order the cheaper they get.
I could do the minimum production run of 25 sets?
That would be £300 a set delivered
Takes 13 weeks to manufacture.
I don't know if this kind of announcement is allowed here, but I have a set of barely used WR15R/T for sale. If anyone is interrested in getting these springs for a cheaper price than new, send me a PM.
Small batch of P11L springs - 25 sets arriving in 6/7 weeks.
£290 delivered UK and NI
£65 for bump stops/dust boots - non-inverted struts.
£55 for bump stops - inverted struts.
