Black alloys accent the bodywork. Chrome, coloured or Silver wheels take focus away from a stunning body.

I like gold wheels on an Impreza, some may think they're old hat but given the right wheels they can look brilliant.

I miss this car, it ended up being broken.

I got the car just how I liked it as well.

Plus it's predecessor, I sold it and the new owner wrote it off in under 2 weeks.

Wheels are the main feature of a car. The bigger the wheels, the more sporty looking the car. That's why performance cars have always had larger diameter ones. Black wheels disappear making the car not resemble a car.
Black wheels are a fashion, like bloody tattoos and piercings. They are CHAV

gold wheels can also look good on white cars, black wheels on white cars are a little hit/miss

I like the understated mean look that dark coloured wheels give.

Your making out its all about your opinion

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, some like this, some like that. You might be a VTA DV fan for all I know, I'm not

Whatever the colour of the wheel, it's entirely up to the owner to choose, it's not just a wheel.that makes it look like a car, the brakes, stances, and car colour also have a major influence how we perceive the look of a wheel on a car.

What car do you drive?

Get a pic up

Better go and have a word with the all those top end designers from the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Chevrolet, Ford, who use black wheels and tell them its wrong and chav

Like I said it's just a fashion trend. It was only a couple of years ago that you couldn't sell a white car to the general public for love or money. Now it's the new silver.

I agree it's only my opinion, but I have great taste.

Photo request of your car or missus, lets see the great taste. Gotta love a challenge to a potential keyboard warrior :P

Nothing at all Tubby, I had it exactly as I wanted it albeit I may have got another set of wheels for it - if it wasn't for that abortion of an engine build I would still be happily driving it today.

[edit] Having thought about it as set of genuine Subaru wind deflectors as I have on order for the S202.

Don't bother trying to pinch Emma's, she a right little vicious terrier - she will rip your man tackle off.

Besides the plastic goes brittle after a while and will probably shatter as you try to take it off plus you are bound to lose the clips and the double sided tape won't come off easily either, you can get a brand new set delivered for £91 from SG Petch Subaru in Yorkshire.

Or I can let you have the Subau part number if you want to order from your local dealer.

I used to hate black alloys, cars looked like their wheel trims had fallen off. I love them now though as I realise the steely look is to get focus on the body..

I always though 3 spoke alloys would come back into fashion.
