Seems like it could be just a wheel that's crackered, or maybe the tyre..

Hopefully it's just that, I'd REALLY get it up on a ramp and have it checked over by someone who knows what to look for though buddy. Sooner the better!

Yeah deffo, it was a large lorry jack I used to jack it up and I had a good look around and couldn't see any obvious signs of damage... They are going to sort a wheel out so once that's done I will most likely head up to slowboy racing and get them to take a look around it

Kind of!

The place sorted a wheel and tyre for me, looks like a band new wheel and tyre as it is mint and the tyre has the bobbly bits on still BUT it is the lighter silver color where as my wheels are a kind of darker silver/grey

But it seems to be fine now, I did take the original wheel to a friend of mine to get it put on the machine to see if it was definately buckled which he said it was

Thing is I have been looking around the tyres etc and yesterday I noticed that the passenger side outer edge as if it was a positive camber, any ideas what this could be down to?

Front or rear?

If the wheel is buckled its been hit.

Could mean lots of bent suspension components.

As previously said before which seems to have been ignored, why are you ****ing around with this? just making it more difficult if there is a problem, should put everything in writing and get the original garage to deal with it

Peronally i would have taken the car back if i had just bought it, but then its up to the op isnt it.

And if it was a bit dodgy, id have probably delivered it through the front window of the dealers!

It is the place I purchased the car from that is paying for everything, I don't have time to mess around and argue over the phone due to my work hours

I've tried looking on companies house to check them out but cannot find them on there so they must just be a sole trader/self employed trader rather than a registered ltd company

I've written a nice email to Auto Trader customer services as someone said it is via them they do their trade and I have picture of all areas of the vehicle where there are obvious signs that things are not right.

Could you guys recommend to who I should contact to get a refund for the vehicle, should this include a refund for the tax or will I need to send that off myself to reclaim a refund

As obviously the guys are refusing to give a refund and said the deal has been done

You do realise that if you sell it on knowing it has a problem but not telling the purchaser the truth you are liable even as a private seller?

If what you are saying is true (and I am beginning to wonder) then go back to the dealer who sold it to you and get it fixed properly or get your money back.

Going to see what the car makes on there, as said the driver rear wheel had a buckle and they sorted it the car now drive fine without any faults, doesn't pull to one side tracking etc is all fine and goes in a straight line without fail. In my opinion I think the tyre the rear passenger side which as a little wear is down to the driver side being buckled and obviously it was either pushing the car side to side creating wear on the tyre or it is just general wear and tear

I have been offered my old Leon Cupra back so if the car sells I may buy that back and put the rest of the cash towards furniture etc, if not I shall just keep it and maybe look into putting a vf34 etc on the car to make it quicker but will not be very soon as we need to sort our new place first

Regards to a few of the problems, it is down to exactly what matthewn has just said, I could go down that route but nothing is ever fast and drags out so what's the point, either way I have contacted Auto Trader etc to make them aware of what has gone on
