Just pick it up and play. The story is based around 3x new characters so no need to have played any of the others

 

Pick up and play. The storylines are unrelated to the last game (GTA 3, GTA IV etc) so it's not like Assassins Creed or Call of Duty Modern Warefare.

I don't think I've ever been pulled into a story as much as this game before. Anyway, once you start doing bigger missions as you advance through the game, you'll earn big monie so don't worry about it just yet

 

Got it !!!! ... well actually Mrs Fleetster picked it up for me, got £6 off it as well

Where to start.. well ive only done the 1st missions as I had to drive 26 miles after work to pick something up in busy traffic so didnt get back until late, did the 1st mission then spent about an hour messing about on it..
broke in to the Airport and robbed a plane



knocks spots off Saints 4!

 

Might have to book Friday off and go buy this. See if it's any good.

For example, a wheel spin will result in the tyres bursting ..

Driving is much better, the brakes work ..

Annoyingly realistic, cars explode on big jumps if you land face first, if you go through the window in a crash, you die and the police can shoot you dead in one shot ..

 

Thanks Pimmo, also the car modding looks great. What I don't like about iv is it being 100% city based and this looks more like San Andreas which appeals a lot to me.

 

What Pimmo said, and the character control isn't wonky as hell.

Only had a few hours on it, as the w**king malarkey keeps getting it the way, but, I have to say it's fooking great.

No sign of CJ in Grove Street, though, just ***** that keep shooting me.
