Pre-ordered this last month and I'm also like a kid waiting for Christmas. I never got into GTA4 and from all the reviews, GTA5 is going to be miles more fun like SA and VC. GTA4 was a huge disappointment and really sucked badly. I've already cracked and had a look at a bit of leaked gameplay footage on youtube from the people who got the game early. Amazon shipped all orders early for the people in N.I and the other Islands.

I've joined the crew over on the AVForums and we have 178 members so far, ready to do battle on the online world once it's available.

I don't know how many of you guys are on XBLive, but if there's at least 5+ of us then it would be worth setting up a SNet crew so that we can play together online and pull off bank heists etc

I'd join but I'm on ps3, I wonder how it will work online, like will you only have all your stuff, house cars etc, on games you host??

 

I'm pretty sure that if you play online and join a gaming world with your crew, then you will have all your stuff. Because I read that other players can steal your own cars if you take it out of your garage and leave it in the street, which is why you can actually 'insure' your car in-game so that if it does get stolen by another player, you'll be able to get it back for a small fee. Very important if you've spent 10k's on customising it, etc.

 

Yeah and don't forget to put your cash in a bank in case you get robbed!!

I wasn't planning on getting this but the hype is making me think again with the online play. What's the best deal for it at the moment, too late to order online so will need to walk in and get it tomorrow.

Also I heard online play won't be available until October, anyone else heard this?

I haven't even started on TLATD on GTA IV so really need to play that a lot more yet as well.
