To be fair if that's the case then that's only one bad report out of how many hundreds of cars that have been mapped by him?
All I can say is when I had a issue following my map (which was actually not Andrews fault) he met up with me the next day to resolve it. Despite the prob not being related to his map he still rectified the problem & didn't want any extra money. Now that for me is excellent service. I understand you can't please everybody all the time but he does have a good rep considering the amount of remaps he has carried out.

but i would also look at other mappers in the area or close by, some are not publicised as well as Andrew but deserve to be.Everyone has an opinion on these matters, both good and bad so dont be put off using who you want to use, but have an open mind about other mappers in the area too.
its not just one but its down to who you want to map your car, if you want Andrew to map it and are happy for him to do so then you do that

I totally agree tony, too many people are far too narrow minding on these matters. There's another very well known mapper on here that I have used previously and his work is superb. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. I used Andrew this time as he came on recommendation from Andy at Richard Henry Motorsport. Also I needed a simtek fitting at ridiculously short notice and he managed to fit me in.
But yeah deffo agree that there's some great mappers out there that just don't advertise.
The measure of the man has already been proven on here, Ask andy about his racerom he developed or should we say the carberry rom he stole and re named.
Plus I know of 2 cars that were detting there snarklies off when they were at a rr session.

Hey Daz it was good to meet you and great car ! Sadly my blob has gone to a new home, however on the up side my new type r is pushing 666.7bhp, so now I get to spend even more time at cams !
Sorry your thread has turned into this but I have to put my 2p in here.
I have a good idea where you guys are getting your info from re "not sorting problems" and quite frankly it's poor. It's very simple Andrew cannot be in 2 places at once, if you have an issue ( days after a map) it's very easy to blame the map, cars can fail at any time. I know of a car that did 480bhp on RCM rollers and throw a rod in sight of RCM when done. You don't hear anyone slating RCM - quite right too, cars fail. Second ally who drives a car that the know has a problem just because "they need to" before the mapper has had chance to get back. Yes Andrew is a nightmare to get hold of at times but he always gets back to you and always goes out of the way to sort a issue, quite frankly if I was the best mapper in the world I wouldn't map some people's cars because its clear they will never be happy and want it all there own way.

I could show you a map that was on one of my cars done by a very high profile mapper that, on the day I got the map checked was miles out, do I blame the mapper - no way he knows what he was doing so on the day and conditions he was mapping in it must of been right.

Nice one m8, bet 666hp is immense, i only started this thread praisin and thanking carr for my remap but as any other thread does, it spirals out of control until people are arguing. My personal experience is im happy with the outcome and was overall a good day out
