All parts are shaped, trimmed and ready for welding.
This welding process has to be very slow and meticulous to prevent deformation.

Thanks for the kind words and compliments.
Appreciate it very much.

After welding and sanding the weld is almost invisible from the outside.

The lower part of the quarter panel and the sill is shaped and welded.

Detail of the weld before sanding.

Most of the parts is made.
Now I need to put together the front and rear half of the quarter panel and make the last weld.

Great work - but get a mould of the front wings, front spoiler, sills, and rear bumper while you can too so you can do a full set.

Steel 22B /S5 kits go for a lot of money - you'd be mad to just have the rear panel moulds.

Hello,

I am like most 2000 impreza rs owners that have the cancer in the quarter panels. i would definately buy a set of your metal quarter panels. Can you send me a message as to how much a set would cost me.. Definately mold as many parts as you can from that sexy as hell 22b.... I would buy the whole set up

cheers

Finally

After five weeks of hard work, the panels are finished.

I hope you find this topic interesting.

Quarter panels and front fenders can also be made in aluminium.
It might be interesting for a racing car.

To order these parts, please send pm.

Also looking for new ideas and opinions which parts would be interesting to make in the future.

Thanks.

Senad

Beautiful work sir!!! Will you be making these upon request indefinitely? What I mean is, will you have the molds to build a full kit even when the 22B is gone? I need to collect some coin but would be very interested in purchasing a kit.

I think you should focus on completing a full kit, front wings, rear quarters, and sills... Perhaps no more side skirts but a weld on sill instead

For what its worth for the cost of the metal panels that he produces you'd be crazy to go with fiberglass repops

Well, I ordered a set and he is making them for me at the moment.

It will be a mix between 22B and WRC, so a larger wheel arch and the WRC steel sills incorperated.

He sends me pictures of the progress every one or two weeks:

Signed up just to say WOW! Amazing work.

How far would one get with a set of front fenders which are mirror images of the rear quarter panels? I just want to stretch the quarters to change the body line some while not changing the side skirt fitment.

I love your work and hope to get my order in for front aluminum fenders and steel sills/rear quarters soon!
Have you seen or have pictures from anyone whose fitted them yet? Id love see it. Another question I have is; when you make these, you can make WRC arches as well as standard 22B arches?

Hi Silspeed.
I do not have pictures fitted quarter panels. Aram, owner of this panel has pictures of trial fitting.

22B and WRC have the same quarter panels, only the wheel arch is bigger on WRC car.
I can make wheel arch size that you want, no problem.
