That one on mine (it came with it) is from Launsport in Japan and is made of carbon fibre. I believe they are still available, if you have no financial worries whatsoever....

It's a complete unit then is it?
Unfortunately my finances are tied up in development work.
How do you think a dorsal vane would sell ?

Cheers.
Yes, it's a 2004 WRC replica 'rear splitter', and given the price of them (around £2100 last time I looked - eek), it's not surprising there aren't many about.
As for a dorsal vane, perhaps to a loan shark...!?

I mean at the end of the day you have a wing the size of a picnic table on the car already so if you are hapy with that these certainly make it no worse and as said they actually do something.
Thanks.
(Thinks.......... perhaps I'll install a hamper in the boot )
I have a couple on mine. Didn't bother painting them as my car is black and i thing the matt and gloss contrast looks good. I didn't put them on for looks but to stop wing bounce and whistle. They do the job well but imo are expensive and a poor fit.
I like them, just can't justify paying for em. No doubt ill loosen my a*rsehole at some point and get some if I can't find any second hand ones soon.
Yes, it does seem a little expensive for what is in effect a piece of plastic.
However, the flexibility (pun not intended) of them - a variety of configurations, ease of installation and removal, no lasting effect, and practicality (although limited) does I think make them better value than they appear.
And you do get free 'Perrin' stickers that you might be able to flog on E-bay, if you state that they'll add 10bhp to any car.

Trust me to buy a blue one !
I'm glad you've confirmed their functionality. I suppose I only noticed the bounce because I picked up on it from another thread.
I also expected them to be quite a snug fit but then thinking about it the wing would have to be separated in order to stick the tape in place. (There's a Youtube vid showing how to do it - that's why I got the bodyshop to do the whole job !).
However, there's only a single strip of tape top & bottom so obviously there's sufficient flex in the wing to accommodate it.
When you mention stiffies thought I was in the wrong forum
Far better than "Stickers" LOL and I do like Perrin stuff
Kev at the Clinic was cheaper than imported the stuff from USA myself
Tony
Thanks Tony.
A former colleague has dubbed it the 'Dragon Wagon', and there are some tasty dragon decals out there.
But fear not, the only thing that gets stuck onto the car is the shampoo, the wax and the polish.
It's a JDM, not JPM (Jackson Pollock Model).
And yes, the Clinic's delivery charge is far less expensive than our American cousins'.
