Thanks to YOU 'Big H' and WMI.

Imo RNLI is the salt of the Earth ("greater love hath no man" etc. etc).

As with all good causes this one needs financial support.

However, for a club located er... far away from the sea, to do this must really make them proud.

You haven't just supported the RNLI financially, you've supported them morally as well.

Imo that goes a LOT farther.

Personally I'm grateful to the lads (esp 'Dave Mica Blue ...') who arranged among themselves to go in convoy and gave me the opportunity to participate.

Might I suggest that next year clubs are contacted early enough to give them a chance to organise (themselves)?
No witch hunt or anything, but I only got to know about this on Friday.

It would be a great shame if great causes didn't get the maximum benefit from what we 'could' do but let's not ever forget that great causes are getting a benefit from what we do.
