Hi, I will supply you a module. However, I do not support fitting to your year of vehicle. I don't have fitting instructions for your year and I won't provide any kind of support.

I'm not trying to be a dick about this, I've simply never seen any of the wiring for your car's year and so literally can't help you with it.

I'd honestly rather not sell you one but if you want to go ahead regardless, please send me a PM. Thanks.

Yes, Tubby Tommy did this to his UK car some years ago and it's not difficult. You need JDM folding mirrors, one of these auto folding modules and you need to run 1 more wire from the drivers door loom connector to the passenger door loom connector and then it can all be made to work.

Sorry I couldn't resist!

Yep, you are best off finding a pair. There are normally a few knocking about on ebay. If they are not the right colour you can always rebuild a pair into your casings. That's what I ended up doing with my drivers mirror on my FSTI.

Hi. I purchased one of your modules for a 2008 2.0RX hatch & never fitted it. I've now a 2010 STI hatch, so will your module work on this model?

Hi.

As long as your mirror switch is the rocker type for mirror folding, it will work. I have a couple left. PM me if you'd like one 😉

If the op doesn't have any left I've still got a new one I can sell as I ended up getting the genuine subaru kit shipped from Japan for mine which does exactly the same for 10x the price. Lol.

I think I may need the link to this.
I didn't tell the seller mines a JDM.

Unless theres a way to get this to work on a jdm?

What car have you got? The Mirrormatic will work with any newage vehicle even JDM cars, in fact the JDM cars should already have folding mirrors so it should be simple. The UK cars will need JDM electric folding mirrors fitted and then an additional control wire run from the drivers door harness connector to the passenger door harness connector. Once that's done the Mirrormatic will install as normal.

My car is a 2015+ new shape WRX/STI and I ended up getting the genuine Subaru unit in the link below for well over 10x the price of the Mirrormatic unit.

https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/45640

It works well. Not sure if there is a Subaru version for earlier subaru models though as this is specific for the 2015+ cars.

Once again Fawor, showing everyone what an under-educated ill-informed idiot you really are. Read the thread. They can be made to work with any Newage car. Grow up you trolling tool. You'll be banned again soon anyhow. Get back to your car wash and ****-heap WRX.

Moron.

I've read all 19 pages. I've read it can work on my 05 jdm hawk by sending a wire from drivers wing mirror to the passage to send the signal as uk cars dont need this.

I am more then happy to do this but have no idea what colour wire is the signal.
IF there is a unit on the market readily available for jdm cars to fit with minimal cutting and fiddling then surely it's a great purchase?

And who gives a crap if I want genuine subaru NEW items on my car regardless of cost?

I'm a long term thinker who thinks about future buyers.

Would they want genuine subaru or after market.

I know what I prefer.

Thanks for tour input and if you ever need a cuddle just pm me.
