Makes me sick to hear of this but also angers me why should they be treated in our hospitals, when there are that many eye witnesses, and in an age where every man and his dog has a video device in his pocket which can collect live evidence, when it is a dead certainty who committed this sick act.I don't want to pay £50k a year to put them into a prison with free food and accommodation. Let the family of the poor innocent victim decide how they want to deal with the scum.There are some sick people in this world.

 

Well I wont let the images and statements from some obviously deluded people on the streets today cloud my judgement as I might feel inclined to come out with rather strong comments .

Instead I think the right thing to do is to worry about the poor victim and his family at this horrific time and allow the recriminations to follow

 

Said scum have already suggested what their punishment should be with their "eye for an eye" comment. Imagine how easily it could escalate out of control.

 

We are a tolerant nation, we believe in freedom of speech and freedom to practise whatever religion you are and allow you to build your places of worship.

Just because some people have opinions which may not seem tolerant, I think you'll find we're much more accommodating than many other nations.

The two guys responsible have been caught, what worries me is that this is open season for the BNP/EDL types, it is manna from heaven for them, they are rightly disgusted and angry but this is the kind of stuff that can escalate and go from very bad to a lot lot worse, their anger is up and they have a cause.

I can see innocent Muslims being targeted, tensions are running high, this is how very bad stuff turns into much worse stuff, riots and loss of life.

I would suggest that people stop and think about what they say and do, this was two nutcases and they are in custody, they will probably never see freedom again, certainly not for a long time, they wont be tortured as that is part of the way of life we enjoy, i.e. freedom from torture so there is an irony with people claiming to want to support our way of live advocating barbaric practices.

 

The people who stood and watched should hang their heads in shame.

 

Sorry to say but the islamic muslims are trouble only have to watch the news and they all kill each other and cause problems around the world its a fact. I find it funny they go against what they preach .

It seems that one of the suspects hands was blown off by his own gun exploding,and the other was shot by a female police officer.
