I have managed to acquire a wingman (well, wingwoman) who will be armed with a camera - don't suppose it'll hurt to have two sets of photos / video clips to share around afterwards.

I'm in Greenhithe and will probably be heading over at around 7.30/8.00 (dependent on when I get back from the Manston airshow) so look out for my white saloon heading towards the tunnel.

 

I'll be leaving about 7:30 as well coming from Orpington. Look out for a black wagon👍

 

I think the scoob is now used as they're test driving vehicle for events... The Sccob was involved in a crasch a while back now but it resulted in the engine etc being removed and replaced with a computerised testing game.

However i have no idea where the Evo is?

1. M25-West Thurrock Services - START

2. At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto Arterial Rd/A1306.

3. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the A282 / M25 ramp to M20 / M23 / Dartford / Toll Crossing.

4. Merge onto A282 > Continue over Dartford Bridge to Tolls (£1.50 required for toll). Keep to the 5 Left hand side toll booths , Ready to take the very 1st Exit after the tolls.

5. Take the 1st junction after tolls ( M25 J1A ) Signposted [ A206 Erith ]

6. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit ( Left ) onto A206.

7. Keep Left and at the next roundabout take the 1st Exit ( A282 ramp ) Signposted - [ M11 / M1 / M25 / Dartford Toll Crossing ]

8. Thru tolls again (£1.50) onto and thru Dartford Tunnel :-D

9. Continue along M25 Follow signs (A13 W & E) Don't take the M25 Services Exit

10. Take the exit signposted [ London (E+C) / Barking / Docklands / Tilbury / Basildon A13] Also signposted [ Dagenham / Rainham / Thurrock (Lakeside) / W Thurrock A13 ]

11. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the A13 ramp – signposted [ Dagenham / Rainham A13 ].

12. Merge onto A13 Follow to London – 50 Mph Average Speed Cameras once past the Fords wind turbines – All very well signed alerting you to speed limit !

13. At the Ship + Shovel Pub traffic lights – Keep into the 2 Right Lanes for the Ripple Rd Flyover, Keep following the [ A13 London / Docklands ] sign.

14. Keep Right at the fork – Following the signs….[ Isle of Dogs / Canary Wharf A1261 ].

15. Follow into East India Dock Road Tunnel.

16. Follow signs to [ Tower Bridge / Wapping A1203 ].

17. Follow into Limehouse Link Tunnel.

18. On EXITING the Limehouse Link Tunnel > KEEP IN RIGHT HAND LANE to take the 1st Right onto Butcher Row / A126.

19. Head north on Butcher Row / A126 , towards Commercial Rd / A13.

20. Follow signs [ Limehouse A13 ] Turn Right onto Commercial Rd / A13 Keep in RH Lane.

21. Once under the bridge at the traffic lights > Turn Right onto Branch Rd Signposted [ Rotherhithe Tunnel / Surrey , Quays A101 ].

22. Follow signs to [ Rotherhithe Tunnel ].

23. Thru Rotherhithe Tunnel.

24. At the roundabout, take the 4th exit and stay on Rotherhithe Tunnel / A101 Back thru.

25. Out of tunnel > KEEP LEFT > Follow sign [ Central London A13 ] Take the Left onto Commercial Rd / A13.

26. Head west on Commercial Rd / A13 - Following the sign [ Wapping A1203]

27. Turn Left onto Butcher Row / A126.

28. Head south on Butcher Row – Following signs [ Isle of Dogs / Royal Docks A13 ].

29. Turn Left onto Limehouse Link / A1203.

30. Thru Limehouse Link Tunnel.

31. Keep Right at the fork in tunnel – Following signs for [ Royal Docks ].

32. Out of Limehouse Link Tunnel > Continue along Aspen Way A1261 - Following the signs for [ Leamouth / Royal Docks / City Airport / ExCel A1020].

33. Take the exit slip road for - [ Leamouth / Royal Docks / City Airport / ExCel A1020 ]

34. At the roundabout , Keeping to the 2 Left Hand Lanes , Take the 2nd Exit onto Leamouth Rd A1263 – Following the sign for [ (A13) Blackwall Tunnel ].

35. Use both lanes along Leamouth Rd, Keeping to the 2 Left hand lanes after the pedestrian crossing

36. At the next set of traffic lights Turn Left into East India Dock Rd (A13) – Following the signs for [ C.London / Blackwall Tunnel A13 ].

37. Continue along East India Dock Rd – Keeping to the 2 Left hand lanes Following the signs for [ Lewisham / Blackwall Tunnel A102 ].

38. At the traffic lights , Turn Left into ( A102 ) Blackwall Tunnel Northern Approach - Head south thru Blackwall Tunnel.

39. Out of the Blackwall Tunnel > Follow A102 south , Take the slip road that is signed [ Woolwich A206 ].

40. Turn Left onto Peartree Way / A1020.

41. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Bugsby's Way.

42. Go under the bridge > Then keep in your RH lane to turn right onto Peninsular Park Rd.

43. McDonalds car park - Peninsular Park Rd - RE-GROUP.

2. Turn Left onto Bugsby's Way .

3. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit, ( Left ) into Peartree Way Following the signs for [ Lewisham A2, A20 ].

3a. Continue straight over at traffic lights, And continue onto the roundabout that is situated Underneath the A102.

4. At the roundabout, Keep into the 2 right hand lanes follow all the around, ( doing almost a U turn ) and take the 4th Exit, Following the signs for [ Docklands / City Airport / Blackwall Tunnel A102 ].

5. Join the A102 to Blackwall Tunnel – Keeping in the 2 RH lanes.

6. Thru Blackwall Tunnel.

7. On exiting the Blackwall Tunnel – Keep to the LH lane – Following the signs for [ C.London A13 / Docklands / City / ExCel ].

8. This lane Divides into 2 > Keep to the 2 LH lanes.

9. Turn Left into the A13 > Keep to the 2 LH lanes – Following the signs for [ Docklands / Isle of Dogs / Canary Wharf A1206 ].

10. At lights Turn Left into Cotton St > which follows into Prestons Road after the traffic lights. Keep in the RH lane for the roundabout ahead.

11. At Roundabout. Take the 4th Exit – Following the signs for [ The City A1261 (A13) Canary Wharf ].

12. Merge into the A1261 Aspen Way.

13. Keep into the 2 RH lanes - Follow signs to [ Tower Bridge / Wapping A1203 ].

14. Thru Limehouse Link Tunnel.

15. On Tunnel exit, at the Traffic lights, THIS TIME keep to the 2 LEFT HAND lanes, As we’re continuing straight on to (The Highway A1203) - Follow signs to [ Tower Bridge / Wapping A1203 ].

16. Keep on following this road Straight , Two Lanes of cars ALL the way down, past 9 sets of Traffic Lights ( A mixture of Junction + Pedestrian lights ).

17 After the 9th Traffic light , Keep in your LH lane – following the sign for [ Ring Road (S) A2 / A3 / A4, Peckham A100 ]

18. Tower Bridge lights, Turn Left into (Tower Bridge Road (A100). Continue over Tower Bridge.

19. At the 2nd set of Traffic lights, Turn Left ( at The Pommelers Rest Pub ) into (Tooley Street (A200)

20. Follow road Straight ahead, Past 5 sets of traffic lights, Tooley Rd leads into Jamaica Rd.

21. Keeping in the Left lane upon approaching the roundabout, Take the 2nd exit for the [ (A101) Rotherhithe Tunnel ].

22. Thru Rotherhithe Tunnel.

23. Out of tunnel > Follow sign [ Central London A13 ] - Keeping Left – At Traffic Lights, Take the LEFT onto (Commercial Rd / A13).

24. Head west on Commercial Rd/A13 - Following the sign [ Wapping A1203 ] – Keep Left.

25. Turn Left onto ( Butcher Row / A126 ).

26. Head south on ( Butcher Row )– Following signs [ Isle of Dogs / Royal Docks A13 ].

27. Turn Let onto Limehouse Link / A1203.

28. In the Limehouse Link Tunnel > Tunnel Splits into 2 > Keep to the LH lane - Following lane signs for [ Canary Wharf & Isle of Dogs ].

29. On exiting the Tunnel – Keep in the Middle Lane – Following the signs for [ Canary Wharf (Lower Level) A1206 ].

30. Turn Right into ( Westferry Rd ).

31. Head into Westferry Circus Underground roundabout. – Re Group

Drive round and park yourselves up around the inside + outside chevron’d edges of Westferry underground roundabout.

A nice opportunity here to film / photograph your mates having a BLAST around the tunnel

 

1. Exit the Westferry Circus roundabout – The opposite end to where you entered – Following the sign [ Isle of Dogs A1026 ].

2. On Westferry Rd – Keep in your LH lane – Follow the signs at the roundabout for the exit [ South Quay ].

3. Head southeast on Marsh Wall – Past South Quay Tube station

4. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto ( Preston's Rd / A1206 ) – Follow the sign for [ Blackwall Tunnel A102 ].

5. Follow the road straight > Over the Bridge > Past 3 sets of traffic lights, and continue onto the roundabout.

6. At roundabout, Take 4th exit (Turning Right) – Follow the sign for – [ Tilbury (A13) / Leamouth (A1261) / Royal Docks / City Airport / ExCel (A1020) ].

7. Merge into ( Aspen Way A1261 ) , Keep to the 2 LH Lanes – Following the signs for [ Leamouth / Royal Docks / City Airport / ExCel A1020 ].

8. At the roundabout , Keeping to the 2 LH lanes , Take the 2nd Exit onto ( Leamouth Rd A1263 ) – Following the sign for [ (A13) Blackwall Tunnel ]

9. Use both lanes along Leamouth Rd, Keeping to the 2 LH lanes after the pedestrian crossing.

10. At the next set of traffic lights Turn Left into ( East India Dock Rd A13 ) – Following the signs for [ C.London / Blackwall Tunnel A13 ].

11. Continue along ( East India Dock Rd ) – Keeping to the 2 LH lanes – Following the signs for [ Lewisham / Blackwall Tunnel A102 ].

12. At the traffic lights , Turn LH into ( Blackwall Tunnel Northern Approach A102 )

13. Head south thru Blackwall Tunnel. Keep following the A102 signed [ A2, A20, Lewisham A102 ].

14. Follow signs for [ Dover / Bexleyheath A2 ].

15. When approaching the ( A102 / A2 Kidbrooke Interchange folk) Keep to the 2 LH Lanes, Following the signs [ Dover / Channel Tnl / Bexleyheath A2 ].

16. Follow A2 all the way till (M25 Dartford Crossing).

17. Take the M25 ramp, signposted [ M20 / Dover / Gatwick Airport / Dartford Crossing / Channel Tunnel ] – Keep in the 2nd from Left lane that's labelled ( TNL ).

18. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the M25 North ramp – Following the signs [ Dartford Crossing / M1 / M11 ].

19. Merge onto M25.

20. Continue onto Toll Booths – FREE from 10pm.

21. Thru Dartford Tunnel – Try to keep in Left Tunnel – ready for M25 services Exit.

22. On Tunnel Exit > Keep in your LH lane, Following signs [ Thurrock – Lakeside services A1306 ].

23. At the roundabout, take the 5th exit, signposted [Thurrock – Lakeside services A1306].

24. Continue on ( Arterial Road A1306 ).

25. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit.
