Just received my killer B Motorsport oil fill pipe from the USA for my build and fitting kit from RCM for my 1000cc injectors,I keep on realising there so much little things for builds especially when your doing a complete one like I am,and the fact most of my parts and ancillaries that was originally in my car now nestles in my wife's engine bay so need to be replaced I will get there in the end.

Just a little update on a few more parts that I have collected for my heads some AVCS pulleys and a pair of RCM adjustable vernier pulleys.I Now have about 99% of my parts to finish my Engine project, and as I needed some tumblers for my manifold I purchased the Cosworth ones as I have always fancied them hopefully I should have a major update soon, but Neil has been doing his day to day work and still trying to get my wife's car finished and ready for the mapping stage so due to that things for my car are moving slower, but I will get there eventually.SJ.

It's the little details that make a car unique Tyleras long as the parts exceed there original function I got to have them,I'm trying to make the car powerful but also stay together for as long as possible without no failings due to inferior or sub standard parts, that's my ethos anyway.Im Glad to see your turbocharger taking shape matethat's my next dilemma as I sold my GT35R that I purchased for my project thinking that maybe I would go the way Jura went with a smaller one or even a different sized turbo altogetherbut as soon as I have the money I will make a final decision.I will keep you posted.SJ.

Well after selling my GT35R to recoup some money for other things, and being in two minds about what turbo I wanted to run on my build,I have just come full circle back exactly where I started I have been having long conversations with tuners and friends with engine set ups close to mine and they all agreed that with the cams that I'm running that I had made the right choice on the turbocharger in the first placeso after sweet talking the wifeI managed to get a early present, and i will be keeping it this time.SJ.

GT3582R T3 Billet Turbo.

Hi Adrian

I still think 35r should spool very nicely on yours and yours spec will prove that

Although if you are in later stages want to go with 30r you will be very happy too,we've run 30R Billet and must admit we are loved this turbo, almost instant boost on the road

P.S: Seen yours at Neil garage and looks great Adrian

Thanks for the positive comments Jura and feedback on the turbos.I was really thinking of getting a different make turbo altogether Borg Warner or a hybrid using a schwitzer core etc....but decided to stick with the Garrett based turbos for now,as they have never let me down, but when the cars up and running you never know it might be something I might check out in the future.SJ.

Hi Adrian

Borg Warner turbo this turbo I've chance to try on friend car and must admit I've been very surprised how it respond on the road(1.9 bar at cca 3500PM),Schwitzer turbo those I know only from diesel applications(I still remember when friend build truck for EU Hill Climb championship) and BMW too I think

Those turbo is easy to remove(much easier than bolt on turbo at least) and if you are will be unhappy, always you have choices at least,I can only recommend Billet 30R on 2.35L,great spool up and power which is useable on the road and still with meth/NOS you can have 600bhp

Good luck with yours Adrian and you are choose great turbo, looking forward on results

Jura

SJ wow!! Now this is a build

Just read through it from the start, you certainly don't mess about.

Block looks amazing painted black! I never even knew that cosworth done the tumblers! Are they a recent release? Any plans on painting the cosworth inlet?

Looking forward to following your progress
