This is an outrage. In your house, taking your car. F*cking scum. Looking forward to them trying to shift the bits. Mate, I'm so sorry for you, just such a shame.

Please contact OP if you even have a sniff of this. Really well cared for car and the West country isn't that big, someone knows something.

Big love Nedz

Very sorry to read this & hope some useful info turns up soon. Saw this and met you at Llandow around this time last year. Impressive car, very unique and recognisable - so fingers crossed that will play in your favor. Good luck mate

Thanks guys.

Had an update from the police. It has been up and down the m5 this morning and ragged around southmead area of Bristol. They have spent at least 2-3hrs booting about including stealing petrol in it.

Gutted but do you really want it back knowing it's been ragged by twocers?

I know you've said it was a present but think of the unseen engine wear/gearbox if you do get it back

Dude so sorry to hear this. I'm out and about all day in the south east as a service engineer so will keep an eye out for any silver newage scoobs. Sounds like from the police report still in your neck of the woods.

Best of luck getting back

Yeah sticking near that on the road will be difficult, plod will need a chopper to keep up with it for sure. I'm surprised they aren't out looking for it to be honest and sincerely hope that car isn't involved in a collision.

Have posted your pic of the car on Facebook - ProR and SOC. I am sorry to hear what has happened and hope you are reunited with the car soon.

What dismays me in advance is that the toe rags responsible will get a slap on the wrist for whatever course of action they take and that you will ultimately end up taking the hit for their belligerent and reckless actions.

...UPDATE...
Here is what happened yesterday (all times approx)

Car stolen from Filton at 5:30am.
Driven south on M5 stopping at Gordano Services to steal some petrol at 6:00am and then back to Bristol.

Driven around southmead and brentry and seen on Greystoke Ave turning into Eastleigh Rd at 7:30am.

More petrol stolen from Asda Cribbs and then seen on Filton Ave, College Way area at 8:30.

Parked up on Swanmoor Crescent / Tranmere Ave from 9am.

Raced around A48, Crow Lane, Knole Lane, Brentry from 7pm-9:30pm

If you see it please call 999 and check the number plate hasn't been changed from HY 05 KDK as this will help track it.
Any info please call PC Meade on 0117 9286056 or dial 101.

They obviously enjoy the chase so they will probably be out in the car again today/tonight if it isn't dumped somewhere already so please anyone local keep an eye out.

Reading this really boils my pi**. I know how hard I have to work and others have to work to enjoy Impreza ownership. Then sum theiving scumbag comes along and takes it and he knows if he gets caught he will get away with a slap on the wrist.

I really hope you get your car back in one peice. Have you been and had a drive around in the area it was spotted? Will be on some council estate no doubt.

What have your insurance company said?

Please keep us updated.

If it hasn't been reported doin crime ( robbery) etc etc
Then chances its joy riders
The clue is wete they drive , because in reality they are cowardly Mo Fo's
Given they crash or are unable to escape they bail from the car - & this is 99% in running distance from safety
Sorry for been a bit deep about it
But the car is almost certain to be within a mile of the streets you listed
It won't be on a drive , but look for council block garages , abandoned , garages etc etc
Ask a few people walking around the area etc etc
It's worth a trip over with your mates for a cpl hrs
You may get more info than you think
& hopefully your car back

I hope today's the day m8
Good luck

Mate you need to ring every petrol station in the area! Tell them not to serve your car! Maybe the ***** will abandon it if runs out of fuel? I would also get me self on the road at 6:30 in the morning, seams they like morning runs! Do not approach them though just ring police and follow from a distance.
It's a real horrible situation! I'm sure your father would understand though so don't beat your self up over it! It will turn up in the end.
Good luck

Is it naive of me to ask if it has a vehicle tracking system? Have they disabled it?

I was actually going to ask the same question as many of that age had a basic 'Tracker Monitor' fitted. If i recall they only need to re-activate it on site if the battery dies so it might be worth a call to Tracker with the vin no. ?
I have no doubt they will sting you for a years subscription just to see if the device is active but has to be worth a try. If it is a bogo Tracker it is a radio emitter that plod have in nearly all their traffic cars so as long as its not in a metal container it'd work.

As thenewgalaxy says it might be a naive question but anything to help someone in this situation has to be worth a message. I lost my dad last year so I can only begin to imagine the emotional tie to that car. I really hope this has a positive outcome mate.

Thanks guys, i have had lots of people and myself out looking for the car pretty much constantly since it went. I have all the local dustmen and posties looking. Local petrol stations and garages are aware and the police chopper is on stand by this evening for the first sighting.

Asking around has got me some good information and i have reason to believe it is still in southmead and they are looking to sell it but noone wants a car with this much attention. Please just tell anyone you know in the area or who might get offered parts to look out for this.
