At the moment the wing does look a bit OTT but it'll all come together when I have the wide flares and 18x11 wheels on.

Is it me or does the boot lid sit a touch proud of the rear wings, especially on the drivers side
Does look good though and certainly suits not having a spoiler fitted

It's purpose is to stop liquids from boot mounted tanks ie fuel, dry sump tanks etc entering the cabin of car if the worst happens.
Not to stop fire as its name suggests.

Thats not a problem it just needs to be sealed around the edges and then riveted in more than I have done in that photo

Carben do you think a 7 inch carbon vinyl sunstrip with CarBen Fibre Creations etc wrote across would look cheesy?

Looks aside how does the rear wing function, is it a bit of an air break for example?

On the road the rear wing has no function other than its looks, when I get the car on the track I'll test it with and without but I dont think there will be much difference.

Havent had much time on the car lately but got round to putting one of the wheels on today to see how it looks.
Fits in perfectly but I still need to do more work trimming the rear of the front flares and also under the arch where its rubbing. So far its looking pretty good
Ive also decided not to run the front section of the flare, personal preference, and also the rear door part of the flare as the doors will be carbon soon so want them looking OEM
