Sorry to see this up for sale.
Had the pleasure of seeing this car and meeting the owner a few times now and I can honestly say you will not find a cleaner car out there.
Good luck with the sale, I hope it goes to someone you appreciates the car as much as you mate.
Tony you need to buy this car, we need another type 20 in this town

Well I have to say that when I first saw the car I'm sure there was a speck of dust on the bonnet, and a small twig in one of the treads.
Now I'm thinking 'how on Earth am I going to follow Kev's shining example of how to look after a car?' It won't be a case of washing it on Sunday - that will be the only day I get time to drive it.
It's a great reflection on him.
(Please pardon the puns).
Just the paperwork with VOSA to sort out ( just purchased its new private reg, so it's a bureaucratic nightmare ) and then it has to start altitude acclimatisation here in The Valleys.
I've been idling for a short time, waiting for 'the right one' to come along and I'm glad I did. Not only the car but the owner/seller too.
I've been watching this forum for a few months and I have to say thanks for helping me learn so much more about Subarus (and car sales firms).
I've had 2 decent ones (Catalunya #192 and a 1995 JDM WRX) but this is definitely 3rd time lucky (Welshman).
Cheers.

Great to see it sold so quickly although I'm not surprised due to the condition and price.
A little bit of me thought it might sit for a while waiting for a buyer who wanted something a little bit special and was willing to spend the money over an STI. Always good to know for my own peace of mind that specials are still sought after.

Thanks.
I'm a bit apprehensive at showing it because there's absolutely no way I can put it in better shape than Kevin has.
However, I will find out what meeting opportunities there are and get to at least one.
It will be nice to meet up with (some of) the contributors I've seen on here.

I would like to sit on the low-to-mid 400s though, so no doubt once I've bribed the wife with the 'pre-loved' TT or Corsa that she wants (I know, I know, you don't have to say anything.......) I might start asking around.
Then again, I'll have to get used to this first.

I would say the car is @@@@@ Quick as it it is. It would need a 400+ car to stay with it and NO lag IMHO don't get involved with top trumps and pub figures

Thanks Tony.
If one can't feel the difference then it is wasted money really.
If I manage to get to the point where I feel I a) want and b) can utilise more power then I suppose that's the time to start looking.
Powerful as it is though, it can't break the chains of DVLA bureaucracy.
