A 16G compared a td04 will feel laggy thats a given but it all depends what you want in a car, a SC32 will get you to the figures you want and wont be far off the td04 in spool but is it value for money against the gain....

Well just looked at it on the sc website, sounds good, would be good if anyone had any results/graphs of what they got with that turbo on a 2.0
There are PLENTY of graphs on the SC turbo thread, you just need to find them!
IMO though, the jist is that the SC36 is the current best bet for a 2.0 turbo that gives great spool and power to the limit of a 5speed box ..... its a really good little blower!
if you were to run it on a 2.5 (not sure if its been done yet) youd end up with it spooling from idle i should imagine, but it might overspool at higher revs and limit top end power (which your doing anyway with your requirements).
I used to run a VF30 on my 2.5 and it was great for day to day drivability!

std pistons rods/open deck
Sti6 tmic

440 injectors(i knw il have to chnge these to 550 atleast) hrc 310 fuel pump
Am I missing something?

everyone will tell you its crap in standard form apart from chopperman who has one that he has had rebuilt because guess what?? it failed.
standard 2.5 is sh1te, rebuilt version with forged pistons etc will be a great engine.
the 2.0 has none of the 2.5s problems out the box.

Lol I know that im not to worried about that to be honest, would standard internals be able to cope with around the 360 mark? Its usually the boost that causes problems right?

I guess thats sorted, time to save up for turbo, front mount, injectors
Im using tubular headers, is this a drawback? As ive been told I shouldnt use them below 400, but im using harveys smith trick uppipe which I thought was meant to help with spool?

400 or below
Ported oem headers 2 bolt Harvey tric up - pipe
Is whats required on a 2.5 sti running a standard VF 43
I achieved 387 bhp & 420 ftlbs on ecutek
Mapped by Bob Rawle
Above 400
You want tubular headers & 3 bolt Harvey tric up -pipe
Turbo choice is yours to choose
Sc46 or MD321V billet is my choice
