So as usual, it's been quiet for mods over the winter.
Car still goes out for weekend blasts when possible though.
Just replaced the rear light clusters on the hatch door as they were letting in water.
Trying to order the dash panels required to fit the forester heating controls panel from Amayama, however the shipping costs are bonkers.

be interesting to see how it turns out, and what all works/doesnt work!

Yes, that's it, I've had the actual working part in the garage for ages, but the plastic trim to match seems like rocking horse poo.
So far as i know it all works apart from the dual zone, it's really just for looks as it's more modern looking.

EMS International (equates to Parcelforce) £23 + + doesn't seem too bad from Japan especially as the passenger side part will be in a big box due to its shape.

If you actually try to order it they say they need to check, then quoted £475 for shipping !!!!!

Have you had the three trim parts priced up by a UK/ROI Dealer as parts are listed for European RHD model as well as JDM ??

Hi Gingey. It's quite subjective, it's a very direct action. Sometimes i love it, other times not so much. I don't think they are that easy to get hold of at the moment?

You might find that the cost gets changed after the fact for shipping that's what happend to me, you have to agree that the cost may be changed before they accept the order.

the last digit is usually a supercede (from 000 to 001, 002 etc )

@Gambit Did your bits turn up? Mine are showing Approx 14th, but not holding my breath for that.

Yes it arrived yesterday! All nicely packed and in stiff box 👍
Just need to find the unit now but have all the usual searches saved so one will turn up eventually 🤞

Wee bit of difference but not too bad, it blends with the stereo surround so won't be too noticeable when fitted

If it does become noticeable, probably easiest solution is to change corresponding drivers side to match

Cheers, notice on part souq its used throughout the rest of hatch impreza range so could probably pick one up handy enough 2nd hand also

For UK and Ireland most common on Impreza hatch lower models will be 66076FG000 and then 66076FG100 for MY11 only.
A similar situation for MY09/10 Foresters 66076FG000 and MY11/12 66076FG100

@matt-c bear in mind that the pillow ball front lower control arms don't have a mount to install the HID level sensor (pre-facelift cars had 2 level sensors. one at the front, one at the rear, facelift ones have one level sensor, at the rear only).

Understood, but I currently have my front one connected to the lower arm with zip ties anyway as the bit on the level sensor that connects to the arm is damaged.
