The problem with kids sharing rooms is that is now a key indicator of child poverty. My LA will always try to put a family in a house with a room for each child. If that means 6 bed detached then so be it. 4 doors down from me is a lady who gets a FOC 6 bed detached. I would never be able to afford it. But she has 4 kids - I have none... yeah I wonder why I work 90 hours a week for my 3 bed semi..

Poverty? I would class kids sharing a bedroom living in the real world, it's a pity nobody does it anymore.

 

It may well be an indicator of child "poverty" but why should taxpayers fund better lifestyles for the unemployed than the taxpayer can afford for themselves?. Especially the terminally unemployed sprog popping underclass?

 

Whaaaat , every child has it's own bedroom else it's classed as impoverished

Indeed, although her eldest is 22, and I guess maybe 4 or 5 of the kids are over 18 now. Hence the 6 bedroom - although another report does say they are all living together and there are 2 grandchildren there too - which I find hard to believe!!!

Next on the list is kids who share bedrooms being homeless too...

Not only has she got the horse which cost £200 a month for stabling,feeding, and vet's fees etc. but she recently tried to buy another two horses but the deal fell through!
