You're being a bit defensive Matty. You can't put up a thread about selling your car and asking for ADVICE (happy Tubby) and then get all testy when people tell you (quite accurately IMHO) exactly what they think it's worth. It doesn't matter what you've sent on x, y and z the market is flat at the moment with an oversupply of cars. If I was to sell my car an 04 JDM Blob with plenty of mods running over 400bhp I'd be lucky to realise 7.5k in the current climate. Trippie has just sold his car a widetrack Blob with plenty of mods for less than 8k. You do the maths.

Matty, I am many things on here, but I am honest and as soon as I saw this thread I so nearly posted to say how it would go.... wish I had now.

Your car is top notch without a doubt, but having seen other posts you have made on other threads about it I have always felt you would be on a crash course with others over its value when you came to sell.

Trouble is you know what's gone into it and will always think it's worth a bit more than it is IMO.... that's not a dig at you btw... it's the same for anyone, but you have modified more than most so the difference is amplified. I am guessing you know that and you have already knocked te price down a little from where you would want it hence whne people tell you it is worth even less in their opinion it grates.

All understandable, but I think you'd be best off ignoring comments about it completely. As you say it's £7K take it or leave it.

If you don't sell it summer is coming and happy days, if you do... new kitchen time! Leave it like that.

PS It is a bloody nice car

I doubt it, my lol was at the irony of him getting the hump when he's done the same in the past, maybe slightly different wording on the thread titles, as in "whats it worth threads", but he has been around long enough to know what to expect from the usual suspects, and getting the hump will only fan the flames.

Sorry matt but you have to see the funny side in life, even when your the object of ridicule.

As me nan used to say, "what goes around, comes around".

I'm sure Matt is thick skinned enough to cope, otherwise Scoobynet is the wrong place to be on.

Tubby you're about subtle as a frying pan to the face and as sensitive as a w@nk with a condom on and wearing woolen mitts.

I regret it already. ....!!!

Just goes to show that very good cars will sell for above average money. If any of the above had come to see it in the flesh as it stands now then you would of seen its worth 7K all day long of anyones money.

Future plans, quite fancy a very early sti ra and restore it to orignal spec and make it mint. First things first though, new bathroom and kitchen.

To be honest I never drove this to its potential. It spent most of the time on actuater pressure poodling around, lol..
Would just like a completely standard ra in as new condition to keep.
