Dont know about that. McRae used the Hawkeye in the xgames and Travis Pastrana and Ken Block both have used the Hatch for Rally.
Yes but using it and it becoming a rallying icon by winning the WRC are two very different things. You could use a motorhome for rallying, but it wouldn't win very much.

WRC is not the only rally series in the world mate.
just because he is 50 means nothing ,i have been driving fast cars all my life and will until im unable to drive through old age or illness, and have followed rallying and motorsport since i was about 5 ,regarding the graphic thing each to his own some look good some dont
I bought them purely because I like the wagons, the heritage was in my mind but not a reason..stickers or no stickers the saloons look a bit twee. Got to recognis they are good cars for sure...
I don't see what the problem is really ?
Everyone has there own likes... And I like the look of the cars with graphics . A big exhaust . Alloy wheels . And vents...... Just how they should be
real
to let air in the cabin
fake
to look like a ****
Why would you want air in the cabin , do you not have windows or air vents in the dash , or maybe you go to work or tescos in a helmet and multi layer nomex suit
Or live in the one area in the uk that has the same climate as southern Spain
So who's worse the guy with the fake rally car or the guy who thinks he's a rally driver lol

they all have wheels, exhausts and vents, spend your money buying the real version instead and not the wrx
you will find the 6 speed box and brembos far more usefull than a sticker on the door

I would think rally cars have the roof vent because the heater/blowers are removed. Can't really see the point in a road car as all it will do is let in unfiltered air and exhaust fumes.

Or8 tony nice of you to join the thread I havent purchased any graphics yet! Lol.
Did I buy my car because of Colin Mcrae ?
.
The man who piloted a helicopter without a licence and without the skill to carry out the manoeuvres he tried in a wooded area, ending up killing himself and even more sad, his young son and two family friends
So no, I bought it because I liked the look of it and it sounds nice.

it has a similar effect as a sunroof, lets a lot more cool air in without the buffering you get from opening a window

With the subaru build quality i'm surprised the rear window doesn't get blow out when you open the roof vent If i want "cool air" without buffering i just turn on the air con.

Good answer .. That's what this thread is about. It was a question.
But has been turned into an argument about stickers lol
