It's taken a while to finish the finer detail of the frame. Here is her primed. The painting should be finished next week.

one word, WOW! looks incredible, and good to see the quality of the work thats gone into it. How do you think it will handle with it being so light at the rear end?

Hey, thanks for the comments!
Handling/Weight distribution - The only weight out the front, is the engine and part of the gearbox. The intercooler has been brought rearward, and as much as possible is relocated to the back end.
Right at the back, low down, is the battery and the diff, on top of the centre chassis is the fuel tank and radiator, these help to counter the engine. However the biggest counter weight is in fact the driver (and passenger) as they are seated well back in the buggy. We don't expect the distribution to be perfect, but it should be good.
The short wheel base (6ft IIRC) may leave it twitchy, but the 4WD should help to keep her straight. It'll be interesting to see how this one handles!

Thanks for the encouraging comments!
We've been putting some panels on and covering that nice shiny pipework. The dash panels, and most of the others are work in progress, trimming of the edges, fixing in place and indeed a second attempt at some panels needs to be done.
Looking at the photos a bit of dusting needs to take place, must book her in to the valet.
The final weight could be around 650 to 700Kg, we're taking bets at this stage.
Four pots have been installed on the front, two pots on the rear.
Side exit exhaust installed. Could toast the passenger's legs, but hey maybe we'll put a guard around it later on.
Next, the panels need drilled for the switches/gauges/whatnot and everything mounted.
Plumbing of fuel, water, brakes and clutch to be done.
The wiring of the Subaru loom should be handy, it's just how to keep it neat and out of the way.

It's a half fairing idea, so the panels you see there are all the external ones that's going on her. What panels would be thinking about? Pull the whole lot off? It's nice to see all the Subaru bits and pieces like in the previous photos.
The exhaust looks a lot closer to the passenger's legs than it actually is. The pitch of the seat throws the legs upward at quite an angle, with the knees being roughly above the exhaust. Heat wrap or a guard can be added to sort it.
