If one bargains correctly with said dealer, then one would be able to pick up the 330S for pretty much that amount of cash.

Ok Subaru have had bad sales since the yen v sterling went out the door so pulling the impreza is just the start of their UK decline (I.m. for you)

Daihatsu suffered due to not having a European partnership/factory unlike Suzuki, Honda, Nissan etc. Sadly, Subaru will suffer the same fate with a possible pull out.

I've Spoken to some dealers today and they said, That there is a possibility that XX Sti's would be brought in 2013 but the would be 3rd Gen bodies with 4th Gen Engines

The all new 4th generation STi's would not be available untill August/September 2013 so doubtful that any of these will reach our shores untill 2014 if they bother at all

Your more likely to see the unveiling of the Subaru Hybrid with the Toyota Electric drive in early spring 2013

IIRC

Is the 4th Gen engine the "FB" engine introduced to the Forester in 2010/1?

Would be good if they could improve efficiency, even if this lowered the emissions and therefore the Road Fund License, which would possibly help get sales for any new STi.

4th gen will be the fb Engine type but direct Injection turbocharged 2.0
this will be tried in the next generation forester due out next year 280ps if I'm not mistaken.

the NA fb engine was introduced first into the forester your quite correct.

The only difference is that the if any 3rd gen Sti with 4th gen engine won't be FMIC nor stop start like the 2014 STi

IIRC
