The built-in bluetooth hands free voice control. Seriously, it's utterly useless and when I've tried to ring someone using the voice command, it can not recognise a single name correctly. Even the simple ones such as "TOM" or "LUKE" it fails to recognise.

Voice controls for things like cd and radio. I need to press a button to activate speech control so I may aswell press the relevant button on the radio which is what I do......

The most useful feature on my car is the heads up display. It's disappointing that only BMW have supported this.

brilliant -- how crap is that

what about in car navigation systems -- surely a Tom Tom is better and you can take it with you after all

manufacturor supplied ones just seem totally naff -- and need a great big fvcking TV like display in the dash that looks monsterous

I use my phone for Nav in the car but the van has a built in multimedia satnav thing; it is a bit safer and seems to pick up a better signal but I'm not a huge fan overall.

The BMs most pointless feature is its allergy to snow. The vans is its loudly bonging warning when the temp drops below 4 (BM does the same but less offensively).

Extra luggage space, and if you have BOSE fitted you get a better sound with the seats down

I genuinely disagree! This evening I collected my kids from my sister-in-laws and had to fold a seat down in order to get a bag onto the back shelf, otherwise I would have had to leave either a child or my Christmas presents behind.

Interesting

I genuinely can't put anything worthwhile in the back of my car. (Kids being the exception! )

Don't have Bose. Putting a sub shelf in the space behind the seats anyway.

FWIW, might have found it more worthwhile if I had a Targa.....

Edit: Chrimbo prezzies go in the Volvo BUT, I have successfully put 2x 61-key synths (in soft gig bags), double keyboard stand, and big hold all for cables and mixer in the car, so it does store well

The "Sport" button next to the autobox in my 1996 Volvo S70 T5. I does absolutely nothing to enhance the experience or make the car more sporty. Instead, it kicks down if you so much as fart on the throttle.

The starter button on my old Honda Integra DC5

Pointless as you had to put the key in, and turn it to the 2nd point and instead of just turning it another tiny bit, press the stupid button...

Think i used it twice in the 18 months i owned the car

The door ajar alarm on my 320.

It only bings when you have actually started moving, forcing you to stop and investigate which door is open. Every other car I've owned tells you before you set off.

Front seats are heated & cooled - loads of perforations in them and cool air from the aircon can be blown into them - feels kind of weird, but does work.

What year? How are you finding it?

I can't help liking them a lot and think we need to own one at some stage. Saw a black Autobiography model with tan leather at the weekend; best interior I've seen in any car ever. Would have to be TDV8 though.

In my scoob it has to be my headunits bluetooth connection, useless above 30mph unless I shout at it with my head 2 inches from the unit, would probably be safer to actually use my phone!

climate control not used? Are you mental, its the best feature !!!

My most useless feature has become my cruise control, as it no longer exists. well it does, but no longer on the steering wheel as its a aftermarket wheel as the airbag went off on the oem one
