I remember for years wanting a Fiesta RS Turbo but having to settle for Escorts instead. All of those mk3 Fiestas seemed to suffer from horrendous rust around filler cap. And those 3 spoke alloys...................

The estate cars inc. the Mondeo were when I was heavily into R/C model flying and needed the room.
In the early days, dear old dad would buy the cars and I would (occasionally) drive the family about. That's why I rarely kept a car much more than a year!
All were from new except the two Sierras.

Very jealous to see that in your list; had always wanted to experience a huge engine in the back of a small hatch like the Clio. Was it any good?

I have been lucky enough to have been taken onto a track in 1 of them and tbh I was very disapointed, for a big engine it really doesn't have that much power, was nowhere near as fast as I was expecting the car to be! I would still own one to say I have a v6 Clio but I would get lore excited over the RX7
