But then I know chuff all about boxing at all, and the first I had heard of this fight was when the mrs said something this morning and called Freddie , Freddie the boxer, I said no the cricketer , and was nearly an argument as she's always right

Ive never understood the medias obsession with this chap. Maybe he's a nice guy but as a tv "celebrity" he's crap!
A wooden voice and just seems too ordinary for the screen. Maybe the media go for his northern accent but i just dont get it!

It's all about money, there will be at least 1 million that pay to watch it, either because they love or hate him, so theres 10 mill gross, i recon he's on a 3 fight deal with franky boy that nets him 5+ if he's a winner and 3 if he's a loser, either way franky and freddie are laughing all the way to the bank.

Can't wait to see who the next celeb is that decides he's a closet boxer.

I think it's crazy he was granted a boxing license. He's dropped a fair bit of weight and he seems to slip and create angles quite well for a big fella.

I'll be watching it, as i love boxing, but i don't think he should start fighting at 36!
