stick to your guns mate it is a good price just maybe the time of the year not many people have much spare cash... will be looking for a similar package in the new year but will not have funds till april. glwts

Cheers mate, yeh not the best time to be selling, might end up just leaving it until after the new year, i may end up changing my mind and just using it

Yeh im getting tempted mate, but thinking of selling up and going new age, money would come in handy towards it lol ill probably change my mind after i drag the ra out from its winter storage and end up using the engine

No probs mate, im giving it until feb or march then going to keep the car and fit it, if it sells then the ra will be also up for sale and moving onto a newage probably a big mistake as ill miss the old classic

i u stll have this in like 3-4 weeks i will deffo buy it,,1700 deliverd u say???
as i need 1,,what does it need to finish it???and would a good mechanc be able sort it down here for me;] sorry sound stupid but this is my first scooby,so dont no much about the engines,im use 2 evos that take all the ****t you give them ;]

It comes with a sump, pickup, waterpump crossover pipe (they parts are used though, the rest is new) basically everything for the bottom end, apart from an oil pump, so all needed is too a bolt the other parts on and new head gaskets and heads of your choice.

cool mate ,,will my heads go strait on off my tye r sti?
and do u no how much a pickup/waterpump crosover pipe/uprated oil pum be mate??? u sound like u no your things as i dont with a scooby engine,,
i would prob use the used sump,, but might buy the other parts new ,,then its all new ye,,eny idea on price for them;]
and another thing would a good normal mechanic be able to fit them for me or is it a api or scooby clinic job??thanx mate as im very interested :]
would love to see how the type r is on anglesey track with the short gearing,,as its a short track

Yeh your heads will fit fine, yeh if it was going in mine i was going to buy the rest of parts new, sump will be fine tho. Other parts are not expensive, can all be bought from somewhere like importcarparts. A decent mechanic will be able to build the rest up, this engine will take a lot of power when complete but will need your ecu mapped.

sounds goot to me mate,,just gttid i not got the cash for few week or would buy it now ;]
and ye will get it maped,,what turbo would u use with the block??
as ive only got a vf24 on mine with 440 injectors i think,,
sorry bought all the questions mate,,just nice to asg sum1 who nows the score ;]
