Jordon - this is a good replacement rear lateral arm bolt - m14 is a common tractor size
its a tenth of the cost of the oem one
http://www.malpasonline.co.uk/ItemDe...emNumber=54786

and this company do a great range of metric extra fine bolts real cheap

http://www.margnor-online.co.uk/

hope it helps

Iain i didnt realise you had a wagon ! LOVE IT! Glad to say iv been busy as the nice weather is starting .. She lives mate !! So happy for the first time in 2 years i heard her roar.. Got the brake lines all back on and bled them but as usall run in to a few snaggs , the braided lines i bought done teem to fit correctly , the bracket thats on the shock doesnt seem to want to gold the joint in the middle of the braided flexi line so back on with the old shan ones untill i find time to dremel a little ridge in but hey at least the on and not loosing pressure, then got the tank back on with a little hiccup as per! Like iv previously mentioned new to this whole car thing so is a learning process, MAKE SURE IF ANY ONE IS CHANGING THERE TANK YOU DONT FORGET TO RUN THE FUEL PUMP WIRES BACK ALONG THE TOP BEFORE YOU PUT IT ON!! I found mine lying in the back footwell just after i tried to fit my new walbro .. Needless to say i wasnt chuffed at having to drop the tank ect for a 2nd time .. And still unsure as to weather i have connected all the fuelmlines on the left hand side up correctly or not (photos of this would be great for refrance if anyone has any) i did mark them up but masking tape and snow dont go well together so sadly 2 of the 3 i fear may be muddled (what would happen if i reconnected these wrong? I know the fuel pump main line is correct tho its the other 2 ... Glad i hadnt put the crossmember back on yet ... Quick question Iain , where did you purchase those polys you got? Anyway all seems to be good atm as i got the crossmember back on with alot of skint nuckles and a little higgery pockery i skillfully manoeuvred it in to position lol... Its currently still sitting on top of the diff as i cant seem to find the bolts i took out.. Rookie mistake i know, do you have a photo of what the four bolts look like and how they sit inside the crossmember once fully tightened ? I have a few long bolts but none seem to fit flush and there seems to be a little movement with these installed, but without the wheels on the radiator and hardly any oil i was egar to turn the key again i realise this was stupid i should have given her a full service but wanted to know if i was wasting my time and money and weather to consider abandoning the project or not , so there it went a half turn and the familiar noise of a fuel pump pressurising... There came a grin... U till i noticed airbag light serves me right really thought i could just splice the wires and solder on the old harness .. But ang way 2 cracks and there it went ... The burble was back ..i only ran her for around 2 minuites as i didnt wan the fans to kick in as this would indicate to me shes trying to cool and she has no water atm as am relocating the tank... But it went rummbled the kitchen floor like she used to but was idiling really high around 2000-2100rpm then dropping to aroun 1700-1900 rmp but rising again ... Just fluctuating now and again and even spluttered like it was going to cut out but catching herself again , i have no idea what the problem is , also sound like air escaping when coming off throttle around 2500rpm but iv only had the inter cooler off and iv triple checked the pipe is flush and tight.. I also noticed after a minute or so the check engine light came on and it was around 9pm when i eventually turned the key so i gave up with it as i rather not upset the neighbours, could this be because of no water/coolant , lack of oil or power steering fluid or it is likely to be more serious?.. Today is going to consist off alot of research hopefully someone on here can help with my questions that are variously scattered throughout this post and hopefully if its not to late when i get answers go out and try some theory's ... Also want to get a fault code check and want to get the crossmember all tightened back up the down pipe off as it needs welded where to spring bolt pulls it together turbo timer and boost gauge fitted and a good coat of under seal so busy boy lol... Starting to look a little better and her starting has made it all worth while so far so time to get wired right in and get her finished .. Aslo a good friend kindly sent me some spats and a large k&n but spats need a tidy up and a fresh paint and k&n will probably never even see the bay of my car never mind own a permanent home there ... Looking for an exhaust donut and a standard factory fitting exhaust gasket if anyone has anything lying around hope all is well with you Iain and your not as daft and hitting the same probs as me... Photos and a video link to come but cant remember my bloody photo bucket password and awaiting reset email.. Take car for not.
Jordan.

Hey Jordan these are the bolts you need for the diff carrier into the diff

youl have to take the big diff carrier to chassis bolts back out again then put diff into subframe then jack it all up at the angle - its the only way to get it all lined up m8 sorry its a pain of a job i just did it a cpl of days ago

polybushes i got here http://www.strongflex.eu/en/subaru_244 fit is real good and tolerances seem fine

i think your eml light is flashing as it will be getting weird readings to the ecu from the temp sensors - give it another shot when shes got all the fluids back in

this is my old girl after 6 weeks of pain - keep going m8 - summers coming

Hope you haven't caused any damage to the engine Jordan!

Hardly any oil in it is bad.

No coolant is really bad. Revving it to 2500 rpm is going to heat things up rather quickly.

It has oil but was old stuff mate , it wasn't reved hard just a quick blip , no smells of boiling oil leakages or rubber so thats good , i dont think it will have done anything bud but im probably wrong ! Iain im at that stage now diff is suspended by jack and crossmember basically laying on top but i could only get 3 of the 4 bolts in after hours off fiddling today so will be back off tomorrow again oh the joys ! Still cant reset photo bucket password either :@

Mangaed to get the air bag light and the check engine light to go off today , filled it with oil and done a fault check and came back with nothing ... Airbag harness just wasnt plugged in properly... Oops! Also got the vacum pipes ran for boost gauge and turbo timer (also has built in boost gauge and peak boost) any one got a spare t piece ? Needed for running the turbo timer as used the free manifold port for the achuall boost gauge its self ... Tommorow hopefully ill get hem all soldered in and the crossmember tightened up, car still idiling iratically but from reading stuff its just because its cold shes idling at a steady 1900rpm now and not spluttering any more Pics to follow !

What size vacuum pipe are you using Jordan?

Would have to check, but, may have something suitable.

Morning jordan - jeezo mate were going through EXACTLY the same problems - i also sheared 2 of the bolts that hold that bracket on - if its the bolt on the bracket to the rear of the car your in luck as there is a large grommet you can remove to get a new nut in - needless to say i sheared one towards the front of the car as well - that one i couldnt see how to do it other than drilling a 25mm hole in the chassis which i didnt fancy - in the end i got a piece of wood and jammed the bracket up onto the chassis then welded round the bracket and also plug welded through the bolt hole - it seemed to work good m8 - think im taking a break from mine this weekend my hands and knees are sore - also its snowing again up here and is real cold
