Car looks great Dibley!

I'm after some new rims for my CG hawk sti, I want to keep the black wheel look as it ties in with my other parts.

18x8.75 et35 in these are on my list, do you get any rubbing on inside struts or arches? I have Eibach springs and have heard this fit fine, hope it wouldn't look odd though, want it to be driveable, your height looks perfect to me.

wow those are super nice. Like perfect looking. I want them bad. Same exact size as op too. But I love my ground clearance. How much ground clearance are you sacrificing with the tein springs? Do they perform well in comparison to your stock wheels are they more for looks?

35 offset is what you all use?? That plays a factor in rubbing right. what about 32 or 38?

I am trying to order these in Black chrome right now but want to make sure I get exactly what you have as far as size. But not if they rub... Maybe I'll roll my rear fenders :/ Please respond when you can with info on what doesn't rub if you know. Thanks

What offset on these? And tire size? That looks like a real performing setup. I always like the way my car handled better with 17's than 18's.

Do these 17's rub at all?

@dibbleyuk - Any issues with rubbing still? Meant to ask if your running any rear camber and how 225's perform on a wheel this wide with "spirited" driving?

I fitted some camber bolts as I had a very small amount of rubbing as it has been lowered on Tein Springs I am running 2.6 degrees of camber at the rear I believe it is and now it is absolutely fine, Fronts have no issues.

As for the tyres the stretch is very minimal and I have not noticed any issues if anything I find that the feedback through them has been improved, I plan to do some track days this year and dont expect it to be an issues. Will soon find out

i have been searching for days for the above answer on rubbing , do you have to run a thin spacer on the fronts?

Many thanks Dibley, think you've made my mind up to go ahead and order some, I have Eibach springs so should be similar to yours if not a nudge higher but I could love with that.
Just don't know whether to get Matt black or black chrome.

I don't think you should need any spacers maydew, 35 offset sort of does that anyway.
