I would go 24mm adjustable arb front and rear, should make the car pretty flat handling wise. Dozza I would also look at KW v3s and bilstein b16s as other options

Yes, they look good too.

Ive also been looking at the TEIN's. Especially that electronic damping control. But is that more of a gimmick, or could it be useful on our roads?

Ive driven on the roads in Scotland, and they are a LOT better than the rubbish roads I have to drive on, as soon as you leave Devon, the roads seem to become much nicer!

I've got an edfc for sale of you go with teins.

It is a God send down here with the crap roads. Worth having for sure. I'm already fed up with having to pull over and adjust the damping and ****ing around counting clicks....

I'll have a look into arts etc handling isn't something I've really got involved with before so it's all new

Just for comparison, k sport rotor mounting kits,

26 nuts and bolts
26 sleeve washers
VAT
Postage

79.99

AP Racing equivalent

30.00 including delivery and vat.

When you factor in the price of pads and discs you aren't too far off the cost of a whole new k sport set up!

Would never buy a set again and if I could have found a decent set of 2nd hand ap or similar. I would have bought those!

Eventful week this week,

A brake pad failed

Ordered new discs, pagid rst3 pads etc, spent until 2am this morning fitting said pads and doing bedding in etc for racing today.

Had to machine the new discs and bells to suit and fit sleeves etc, it did not go well! Another big thank you to Alyn for getting me the bits at such short notice.

After a full refurbished of the brakes some bedding in and what not we went racing at spitfire raceway.

It's the first time I've ever ran there and it went pretty well,

Set a new course record, a new personal best and am another step closer to my 10 second run.

11.06 @125 1.77 60ft

Thanks micky, the car fought me all the way today. Launching was tricky and sustained some cosmetic damage due to leaving the ground and coming back down to earth with a bump.

Although out of 8 runs all with manual launches 7 were 1.8 or less 60ft times. So id definitely suggest LC isn't worth the effort.

Yeah but that's cheating 🤔

We had a slight south West cross wind so it was blowing diagonally head on. There was more in the car today and I know there is.

My 60ft times were poor, I couldn't get my launches right and I kept missing gears under or over revving before changes etc. The car was been a pig today.

I think my 6 speed is dead too.

Never mind, if I run next time without a full tank of fuel that will be the difference!!!

Just the amount of squat down on the rear, had to be near launch point.

Yeah I think this is just before the 60ft marker.

Its quite alot of squat going on, need to figure out the best settings for the new suspension etc, its like driving completelty different car with the new engine, suspension, brakes etc!
