If it`s anything like last weekend, you won`t need to worry much about launching, soooo little grip, even with the diff locked, I was spinning all 4 off the mark, couldn`get my 60ft under 1.89. On the plus side, it was quiet, get in as many runs as you want!
Good luck guys!

Thinking about going on Sunday but not sure wether I would need
A helmet? Apparently if doing 110+mph at finish s helmet is required?
Also can you just turn up on the day or do you need to book? I have v5 type r running approximately 420bhp am I likely to hit 110mph?
Thanks Ben

Ok cool so I would need to have a helmet?
Had a quick look on Santa pod website an said to turn up early to ensure a place, is this right or can I turn up at lunchtime an have a few runs? Cheers

Bummer, it was stupid slippery last weekend too. On the plus side if you ran that time with a 2.1 60ft, you should be on for a Very low 12 or even high 11 on a better day.
I managed a 12.0@118 last Saturday, with a 1.9 60ft. I ran 1.6 60ft`s last year with 100bhp less!
Hopeing to head back next spring, with warmer weather and hopefully a better preped track!

Yep, I'd be on for another go in the spring.
Not sure it's capable of a high 11 but deffo a very low 12. I was getting much better 60ft times in the summer but was running quite a bit less power, suppose the more power you have then the more wheel spin you'll get. Could of adjusted the AVCR to hold boost back a bit in first and second which might of helped.
How much power you running buddy, must be quite a machine to run a 12.0 in those conditions.

It did 448 on the rollers, so somewhere around there. Got no video of my only 12.0 but this one is close 12.1@117, excuse the really poor reactions, still playing with getting it to laucnh properly!

Likewise my first run was my fastest with an 11.7+ with a 60' of 1.9 sec but grip was pretty poor and got worse as the day went on. As Dan said I think the highlight of the day was the bacon roll. Nice to meet you guys and put some faces to names.
