Just wanted to know if i'd get time for a p!ss , as i thought M25 would be a longer drive , and no time for p!ss / Stretch of the legs

Is the A406 a better route than the M25?

M25 seems a bit more straightforward to me and the route we've always taken going to Banbury. Much less speed cameras too!

Happy to go with the majority though.

 

I don't mind either to be honest mate if everyone would rather go m25 that's cool.

 

Ron aa route planner says m25 route 1 hour to beaconsfield services

 

M25 is the far better option, convoy can stay together, no traffic lights to break up the party and seriously , takes an hour !! Not on a Sunday morning with nice clear roads saying that I'll go with the majority , just looking forward to the day in general.

 

Just leave a little earlier so there is time for Ron to empty his bladder at Beaconsfield.

 

If your meeting earlier please let us know sooner rather than later as I've got a couple of people travelling a fair way to meet me before we get to Brentwood. Cheers

 

8.30am is fine - if everyone arrives promptly we can exit quicker - and I doubt it will take an hour to get there on a sunday morning.

We don't need to drive mad but we wont be poodling at 50mph all the way!

 

I'll have to agree with sir fozz , A406 is just a speed camera nightmare !

M25 is the simpler , direct , non speed camera route

No we don't, we are fully supporting Andy's all weekend drive to get from Essex to Beaconsfield in time for leaving at 10:15 Sunday. Progress report, he left about an hour ago and is venturing towards the end of his drive as we speak

 

I wont be making this my car is off the road atm, shame I paid up too

Adrian I will tell all tomorrow, but have no boost, no power its missing, and sounds like it has anti lag when under load and hunts on takeover then cuts out. All in all really not good mate.
