Before my first scooby I had a Mk2 golf with a 2.0 16v lump loved to spin the front tyres.
Then got a 2000 turbo absolutely loved it sold it due to company car and trying to save for a house.
Went back to VW when i lost thecompany car with a Mk3 VR6 and hated for so long can't tell you how happy I was when I got back into a scooby 2000 turbo by the way. So when it was time to change I decided to stay with the scooby and bought a 2006 UK STI Hawk, there is not much I would change it for that would not cost another £20-£30k on top.

I had a MK1 focus rs 332bhp/353lbs torque.Great car but too
much power for a front wheel drive.Once it was going,it would
have had to be a very quick car to stay with it.

Great motor, i had one in silver, if Pug had of brought the 180 out two years earlier than when they did it would have been a legend.

Went to the Pug factory at Ryton with the Pug Sport Club with a few other 180's

Happy days.

Scoob was my first car after passing my test. It was a sport though

Before my 4th and current Impreza I had a 1.8 406 runaround. Prior to that I owned my Luftpanzarwagen

Couple cars before that I had this when I was 23-24. Best little car EVER

It was fecking mint, no rust, rear arches had been done, 150bhp ATW's.

And it ended up like this;

Like you say, it was an awesome car. I would have another in a heartbeat, but, clean ones are very hard to find.
