Cheers Ry
but what colour is that? Looks gold in the pics
Just went for a little change Jon after the new radio went in and the red hazard switch stood out like a red saw thumb

Finally managed to track down a mint bonnet in the same colour to replace mine which had the dreaded finger mark/dents at the front
The offending item removed

And the new one on
best £50 I've spent on the car since I bought it

Really pleased with it as it always annoyed me seeing the dents

Thanks Craig
Slowly slowly does it now not in a mad rush plus funds don't allow to go silly anymore
Had a very good chat with Alyn today what a top bloke he is. We spoke in detail about engine builds and he gave me some sound advice to have a think about to decide which route would best suit me and the funds I'd have to play with. Hopefully when I come to a decision this thread will move more towards the build and less cosmetic stuff

There's various types out there made from different material but they're designed to stop heat soak from the block into the manifold keeping the inlet temps down.

Some people have reported to 10mm ones result in the manifold sitting too high but that I think is more on classics. When considering the cost remember you'll save the expense of new gaskets as the o-ring options are self sealing. I have a set of the Carl Davey ones to go on mine

Haha can't wait to mate spent all that money on them and they've only seen road for a couple of months
Really think its worth the money Jon? I was thinking of just putting a new gasket in for a Tenner lol. Reason I'm changing the inlet is to free up some features from the new open source rom where I can go maf less with anti lag etc etc. my aim is to save enough pennies for a re build towards the end of the year so the inlet would just be a temporary thing.
