I looked at that a while ago, guy stayed not far from me, was a very nice car but had been hit in the rear and repaired, think the speedo read 120000 a mix of km and miles so looks like the new owner is trying too palm it off as low milage, and 3 k more in price lol

If anyone is thinking of going too look at it, ask about the rear end damage and why the millage is halved, very naught indeed and wants reporting, some poor guys going to get stung for that, as i said its a cracking car and worth every penny of the 8k it was up for before but the repair put me off, its been repaired well but see if the guy selling it now tells anyone about it.

well interesting, the number for the ad on pistonheads (07760127658) is recognised on google, and it links that number back to sale threads of a member on here who referes to this number as a "friend of his"

so that member RFKLIN or whatever obviously knows the seller or sells parts with this contact number on behalf of someone, something fishy

If it wasn't for the rear end damage repair on this car it would be sat on my drive now
I was serious about buying this untill I found out about the damage and it was offered to me at very good money too. The seller was a really nice and honest guy but when It came down to it I wasn't prepared to part with several £k after itd had been repaired

Some pics I was sent as he was very honest

Looked a good repair by the way

It was repaired by Eastern Western at Broxburn at a cost of £4700.

Was good to meet up with you Jay and wish the car had gone to someone like yourself however I needed it sold.

The mileage was around 112k on the clock when I sold it and it was in the region of 80k miles in total which was a mix of miles and kms.

Anyone that enquired about the car was given the full story about the bump at the rear when on the Ring in 2011.

This car is NOT showroom condition as I used it regularly and drove it the way they should be driven.

As for the 58000 miles currently on the clock!!!!! WTF?

As it was imported in 2008 it came with no Jap history. I serviced the car myself every 5k or so and only had receipts of all filters, oil etc that I bought when I serviced it so NO documented garage history for servicing.

Not fussed or surprised its back up for sale but very angry at how low some people will go to sell a car!!!!

Anyone considering buying this or wants any further info, just drop me a pm

P/Heads ad altered to 83k miles now ...

TX.

Edit - the new owner is entitled to advertise it for what he likes surely, it may or may not sell. Never really understood why peeps feel it necessary to say it was for sale for £x previously

and just too add Andy was a very honest guy about the car and nothing was hidden.
Id still have it but too far away and not at the price its up for, 8k was realistic for it. but if the guy can get that for it then its up2 him but why lie about it to make a sale

I owned the car before Andy and had it for approx 3 years. I had the car imported in 2008 at approx 67000km which from then on read in miles. Car was regularly serviced by myself (and i have actually found more service history for the car the other day when i was clearing out the house) lol.
