Just like Elton John, so i was glad he didn't flounce on stage to start shrieking either.

Seemed a strange choice to me "Imagine there's no countries ..." at an event entirely comprising international rivalry.

Thought Freddie was the best bit music wise,

Annie Lennox, was good, but should have done sweet dreams !!

The drophead phantoms were stunning, want want want

Other than that it was erm average

Gave up after queen and went to bed....

The Who as the headline act.......no way!!!

I was sure there was a guy who was pretty famous for being quite good in an F1 car a few years ago.

Think his name was Senna

Enjoyed most of it but why have all the acts driven around on tractors and trucks, just put them in the middle to perform.

GM was OK but nothing special as was Gallagher and his miserable band.

Why was Russel Brand there?

Showing Imagine with Lennon was good as were muse.

Queen should have had Tom Chaplin singing and playing We are the champions would have been better.

Half of the 'stars' featured were also used in the Jubliee concert, haven't we got anybody else ??

Where was Adele?? - would have been ideal; local girl born in Tottenham.

makes sense that the closing ceremony mimics the british weather; mainly s**t with a few bright spells
